Noor D. White Carreiro, PhD

A molecular biologist with expertise in evolutionary genetics, I have extensive experience in molecular lab work and bioinformatic analysis, as well as expertise in light, confocal and electron microscopy, including super resolution microscopy. While my academic background is in comparative genomics, phylogenomics and the evolution of vision, I am broadly motivated to use my skills and experience to answer research questions related to improving human health and defense. I am currently a Staff Scientist in the National Eye Institute.
